| Edinburgh music promoter Baby Tiger may have moved out of their premises of 4 years - a west-end backpackers' hostel - but any tears shed will be ones of joy as the half-dozen strong collective of music lovers unveil their new venue. Based on West Register Street - conveniently situated for Waverley Station - the custom-built music room named The Den (actually located within the Cafe Royal) is set to provide a much-needed addition to the capital's haphazard set of gig venues - and put back on track an unbroken tradition of weekend shows - which has seen live music in the Liquid Room - Cabaret Voltaire - The Bongo Club - Henry's Cellar - & the late lamented Edinburgh Venue - as well as their regular home in The Swamp Bar. | |
